  1. Make Windows 10 Multi-User available on-premises aka Windows 10 Enterprise for Virtual Desktops

Although a great part of the IT industry moves towards some kind of public/private/hybrid cloud deployment, the greater part of the industry still functions the same like 10-20 years ago, where you have a simple Database->Server->Client application which won't transform itself into a native cloud application anytime soon. These customers still have the urge for a rather simple Microsoft based OS with win32 apps deployment. RDSH was a great solution for the last years (and it still is!), but honsestly what all the RDSH/Citrix admins ever wanted, was a real Multi-User OS which wasn't Server OS based. It would solve…

  2. Integrate published virtual machines into myapps.microsoft.com portal

Instead of providing another portal to end-users to connect to the published virtual clients please integrate them into the already existing myapps.microsoft.com portal.

  3. Build UI for on-boarding to WVD

Currently the WVD deployment mechanism is via ARM template. This requires on big arm template to be submitted. If there are errors we need to wait 30+ to figure out and then try again

  4. Add support for passwordless solutions

With Microsoft's interest in going passwordless, and with the new public preview for FIDO2 key support, it would make sense to allow users to login to these virtual desktops and remote apps using the same passwordless solutions. Seems counterintuitive to test going passwordless, but then requiring a password using password hash sync for these vms.

  5. Option to change Web RDP URL

Currently, the Web Client has an URL "https://rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com". Can we have an option to change this URL to our domain?

  6. Fix Constant "NoHeartbeat" in RDS Infrastructure Agent 1.0.1006.2006

Ever since our virtual desktop VMs auto-updated to Remote Desktop Services Infrastructure Agent 1.0.1006.2006, they keep falling into a bad state of "NoHeartbeat" after only a few minutes. When the VMs first boot, the status is "Available" and "LastHeartBeat" reflects the time of boot. We're able to connect to the pool without issue and can maintain sessions, but cannot start new sessions because the status changes to "NoHeartbeat".

If an admin restarts the "RDAgentBootloader" service, the status changes to "Available" and "LastHeartBeat" reflects the time of the service restart.

For reference, I am checking on the status of the pool…
