  1. Ability to customize RW.vhdx file name to use one folder for different user profile versions

I'm building a Citrix farm with Windows 2016, 2012 and Windows 10 machines, but cannot use a single user profile folder share, because I cannot customize RW.vhdx file name as I can do with the profile vhdx.

  2. Intune Administrative Templates (or SCP OMA-URI settings)

Provide Intune administrative Templates for all FSlogix settings for Modern AAD joined W10 devices, alternatively as a temporary measure provide the Intune SCP policy OMA-URI settings for the above

  3. Teams

Store Teams Meeting Addin for Outlook (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\TeamsMeetingAddin) and Presence Addin (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\TeamsPresenceAddin) in FSLogix Office Container. Those folders are not saved and they will only be created at the Teams Desktop Client installation procedure. After logoff and logon with a stored Teams folder in the Office Container the user cannot use the Teams Meeting Addin anymore.

  4. Allow folder redirection to OneDrive for Business

This would be great in WVD+AADDS scenarios where only line-of-business applications are published, that have occasional need to save files.

  5. Allow redirection of data, not in the profile, to an existing container

This request is to all an administrator to specify data, that is outside of the profile, to be included in an existing container, most likely the Office Container.

As an example, an organization has a line of business application that stores user information in a folder such as c:\LOBAppName\LOBUserData. There is a desire that this data roam with the user in non-persistent environments.

  6. User level management of settings via GPO

Apparently you can management FSLogix settings per user, but only by making manual registry edits.

We would like to see user level targeting of settings manageable via GPO.
This is where we do all of our core setting management, so if we want to only apply some settings to some users, adding this to a GPO would be easier than modifying the registry with a users' SID manually.

Make it visible to the End-Users when hovering over de systray-application in WHICH mode te Profile-container is mounted. At the moment this is not possible to see if this is in ReadWrite-mode or Read-Only mode. And this can be important to know for the end-user.
I assume the application knows in which mode it is working, so it must be easy to make this available via a tool-tip when hovering over the systray-application.
    Thanks,
    Chris Marreel

  9. Auto Delete of VHD/VHDX if Corrupt

When a container is becoming corrupt we are finding that the VHD/VHDX is stuck on 0MB and is pretty much useless. Rather than troubleshooting/manually deleting the container it would be good if a GPO could attempt to re-create a fresh container on logon rather than mounting the same container that is obviously corrupt.

If a there was a configurable GPO that could for example delete and re-create any container that was <500mb then it would fix the corrupt container itself by re-creating it.

  10. Warning Message When Connection to Container is Lost

When the File Server that you container is connected to goes down or you lose connection to the container, there is no pop up to give the users any information.

Their Outlook and any other application being cached will hang and therefore they will not know what to do. As an administrator you can check using the tools.

Please can something be made available for the user to be informed when connection is lost or at least something they can check?

  11. O365 Exclusions

It would be really useful if you could make exclusions using the Office 365 Container like you can with the Profile Container. After speaking with an FSLogix SME this was not setup to protect the O365 Container and ensure there are no problems. As new versions have been released and the product has matured, is this something that can be introduced?

  12. Site-aware Cloud Cache read prioritization

Currently, when you specify CCDLocations, the first one is used for all non-cached reads. This is an issue when there are multiple hot-hot sites in place, as we then need two different configurations targeting the sites with a different order to the CCDLocations in order to force the VDI in that site to read from the CCDLocation located locally at that site. We are currently solving this with two Group Policy registry preferences, each using item-level targeting to apply to a specific site, but a native mechanism to auto-detect the closest CCDLocation to use for reads would be preferred.

  13. Additional conditions for rule assignment

It would be great to have wildcard support or additional parameters for targeting FSLogix rules. For example, "computer name starts/ends with..."

  14. frxtray.exe and privcacy: allow to hide operational view for non-Admins

In other words "how to restrict standard users to basic view?"

Users could view other users logoff time in the operational view.

Besides disabling frxtray completely is there any workaround like permissions on a registry key?

  15. Container Searches, Non-Persistent Terminal Servers

We really need the ability to rely on searches for non persistent terminal servers. I get it, only Outlook email searches can be roamed. I had a 6 month long ticket that in the end, was just told the behavior we are seeing is expected. End users cannot properly search against their Desktop/Document folders, and I would expect that after they login, Windows will start adding that information to the search index. Nope. Users are also unable to search from their Contacts folders in Outlook (but they can oddly enough search from the People bar in the mail screen). I…

  16. security make java visible only for specific applications

As old java versions are often a specific requirement for aged application, they rappresent a huge security issue.
To eliminate security risks, FSLogix could hide java installation to all users and make it visible only for specific application/web sites.

Idea is to use application masking to hide all installed java versions (no default java version) and then allow accessing them using version control rule.

For example, CoreHR, needed by all users, requires java 1.6 installed. Ideally FSlogix can hide it using applciation masking rule preventing security risks, but make it available while requested by CoreHR only. Same for other java…

  18. Silent Installation fails because of a newer CRT installed

In silent mode the CRT installers are executed all the time. There is check if the included CRT is needed or not. But even if a newer version is installed the older CRT installers are executed and fail.
